Cowboys Host Mustangs, Tigers in Home-Opening Action

STILLWATER, Okla. - OSU's men's tennis team will open the home portion of the 2008 schedule when it hosts SMU and Memphis at the DeBois Tennis Complex, this week.
On Wednesday, the Cowboys (No. 15) will take on the 44th-ranked Mustangs in a 2 p.m. match. Thursday's match against Memphis is also scheduled for 2 p.m.
The Cowboys, led by senior Ivan Puchkarov (No. 31) and sophomore Oleksandr Nedovyesov (No. 10), enter Wedneday's action with a 6-4 record despite opening up with a rugged schedule that included matches against No. 4 Mississippi (twice), No. 6 UCLA, No. 11 Baylor, No. 29 California, and No. 46 TCU.
“We are excited about playing at home,” said Cowboy head coach James Wadley. “SMU and Memphis are both strong teams and we are looking forward to them coming to Stillwater. Our guys have been playing well against some of the best teams in the country, so we we are looking to forward to getting back on the court.”
