Cowboys Fall to Horns in Big 12 Opener

After Nedovyesov and Cowboy junior Nathan Byrnes defeated Ed Corrie and Kellen Damico, 8-2, at No. 1 doubles, the Alushta, Ukraine, native picked up OSU's lone singles win, defeating Texas' Dimitar Kutrovsky, 6-3, 6-4.
Byrnes and sophomore Dmytro Petrov each took their singles matches to three sets, but each came out on the losing end. Senior Ivan Puchkarov suffered a tough 6-2, 6-0 loss to Damico at No. 2 singles, and OSU freshmen Anton Bobystkyi and Igor Sobolta lost at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively.
OSU will be back in action Sunday as the Pokes take on Texas A&M in
