Cowgirls Set For Road Tilt In Little Rock
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team (3-1) returns to action after a nine-day layoff on Saturday when it travels to Arkansas to face Arkansas-Little Rock (5-1) at 7 p.m. The 17th-ranked Cowgirls have won three in a row after their 84-54 win over New Orleans on Nov. 26, while the Trojans are coming off a 66-44 win against Southern Miss on Wednesday. Saturday's meeting will also be OSU's last game before taking a week off for final exams. The Cowgirls will not take the floor again until Dec. 14 when they return home to face No. 22 TCU.
OSU vs. UALR ... The Series
Saturday will mark the third time OSU and UALR have met. The Cowgirls won the first outing in 1987 in Fayetteville, 94-68, while the Trojans evened the series in 2005 with a 64-54 win in Stillwater.

UALR enters the weekend riding a three-game winning streak after knocking off Southern Miss, 66-44, on Wednesday. The Trojans are led scoring-wise by Anshel Cooper's 17.8 points per game, while Chastity Reed is the squad's second leading scorer at 12.0 points per game and is grabbing a team-high 8.7 boards per game. UALR returned three starters from last year's WNIT squad that finished 23-9 and won the Sun Belt West Division title. The Trojans have proven formidable at home since moving into the Jack Stephens Center in 2005, posting a 42-6 mark overall and a 21-1 mark against non-conference foes.
