Cowgirls Look To Rebound Against TCU
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team (3-2) will host TCU (8-2) in a clash of top-25 programs on Sunday at 2 p.m. inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. The Cowgirls are ranked 24th and coming off last weekend's loss at Arkansas-Little Rock, while the Horned Frogs are currently No. 19 nationally. The contest will be OSU's first home game against a ranked non-conference opponent since defeating No. 24 Michigan State on Dec. 2, 2003.
OSU vs. TCU ... The Series
OSU and TCU have met on three previous occasions with the Lady Frogs getting their first win in the series last year in Ft. Worth. The first two matchups took place in Stillwater, both OSU wins, with the first coming in 1984 and the most recent being in 1994.
Scouting TCU
TCU is riding a two-game winning streak after an impressive victory at third-ranked California last weekend. The win was the squad's second this season over the No. 3-ranked team in the country after a season-opening win over Maryland. Sunday's contest will be TCU's sixth consecutive away from home. The Lady Frogs have gone 3-2 during that stretch with victories against Eastern Michigan, Saint Louis and at Cal. TCU's losses came against Boston College and at Fresno State. TCU is 1-1 in true road games this season. The Lady Frogs' roster has a youthful presence with just one senior and a starting lineup consisting of one junior and four sophomores.
