Four Student-Athletes Named Seniors of Significance

STILLWATER, Okla. ÂA school record four student-athletes have been named recipients of the 2008-09 Oklahoma State Senior of Significance Award. Megan Byford, Seb Clements, Yolanda Odenyo and Jacqueline Roberts were all honored by the OSU Alumni Association with the distinction.
The Senior of Significance Award recognizes students who have excelled in scholarship, leadership and service to campus and community and have brought distinction to Oklahoma State University.
The four standouts were among 44 students overall chosen for the award.
A member of the Cowgirl basketball team, Byford is a public relations major, while Clements is a member of the Cowboy football squad majoring in international business. Odenyo competes for the Cowgirl soccer team and is majoring in child and family services. Roberts rides for the Cowgirl equestrian team and is a child and family services major as well.
An honorary reception to recognize this year's winners will be held Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Click Alumni Hall at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center.
