About Oklahoma State
Oklahoma State opened the Travis Ford era with a 76-57 win over the UTSA Roadrunners Friday night. It was the 34th-consecutive home season opener, the longest streak in school history. Seniors Byron Eaton and Terrel Harris led the Cowboys with 27 and 20 points, respectively, the first time the four-year Cowboys scored at least 20 points in the same game. Just six Pokes played more than eight minutes in the game against UTSA as all five starters played at least 29 minutes and freshman Keiton Page added 20 minutes of court time. OSU is going into Monday nights game looking to avenge the first loss in the series with North Texas last season when the Mean Green defeated the Cowboys 82-73 in Denton.

North Texas is 1-0 this season before entering the game Monday night in Stillwater. The Mean Green defeated Cameron of Lawton 87-66 Saturday night in Denton. Four different players scored in double figures, led by Tristan Thompsons 13. Josh White added 12, while Adam McCoy had 11 off the bench and center Justin Howerton added 10 points and a team-high eight rebounds. UNT shot 55.6 percent from the floor, including 47.1 percent from long range. However, the Mean Green was just 9-of-17 (52.9 percent) from the line.
