• averaged 21 points, 15 rebounds and seven blocked shots per game.
• was rated teh 42nd-best center in the country by ESPN.com and the 60th-best power forward by Scout.com.
• attended Our Savior American in Centereach, N.Y. prior to IMG.
• also attended African Hope Learning Center in Cairo, Egypt.
• chose Oklahoma State after originally enrolling at South Florida. Had chosen the Bulls over West Virginia, Indiana and Kentucky.
Personal
Born June 21, 1989, Teeng is the son of Ceci and Seul Akol. He has three sisters and one brother, who now all live in Egypt. He enjoys spending his free time hanging out with friends. Teeng is contemplating a degree in mathematics at Oklahoma State.
