2007-08 (Sophomore Season)
• played in two games in the EA Sports Maui Invitational.
• played nine minutes against Marquette, scoring five points and grabbing three rebounds.
• played three minutes against Illinois.
• suffered a shoulder injury and sat out the remainder of the season following surgery.
• was granted a medical hardship for the 2007-08 season.
2006-07 (at College of Southern Idaho)
• led the College of Southern Idaho in scoring as a freshman, averaging 15.8 points per game.
• CSI led the nation in offensive output, averaging 105.7 points per game.
• also averaged 5.3 rebounds per contest.
• recorded 66 steals and 50 assists in 35 games for the Golden Eagles.
• shot 45.6 percent, connecting on 194 of 425 shots from the floor.
• made 100 of 242 attempts from beyond the three-point arc, good for 41.3 percent.
• shot 72.7 percent from the free-throw line, connecting on 64 of 88 attempts.
• recorded 33 points at Colorado Northwestern Community College, connecting on 13-of-26 shots from the floor, including 5-of-11 from long range.
• grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds vs. Montana Tech and matched that vs. Western Wyoming.
• College of Southern Idaho ended the season with a 30-7 record, won the NJCAA Region 18 title and advanced to the NJCAA National Tournament, finishing fourth nationally.
• was named to the NJCAA All-Tournament team and was the Most Valuable Player at the regional tournament.
• made 11-of-21 three-point attempts at the National Tournament.
• was also named first-team All-Region 18.
• chose Oklahoma State over recruiting interest from Kansas, BYU, USC, Oregon, and Illinois.
2005-06 (at Dixie State College)
• redshirted his true freshman season after a shoulder injury sidelined him the entire year.
High School
• graduated from Pine View High School in 2003.
• averaged 23 points and five rebounds per game his senior season.
• led Pine View to the state championship in 2001.
• was named all-region and All-State.
• also played baseball for four seasons.
• was named All-State in baseball as well.
• was recruited by BYU, Utah State, Southern Utah and Santa Clara out of high school.
Personal
Born May 20, 1985, Brad is the son of Kim and Audra Garrett. He and his wife, Whitney, were married in August of 2007. He is the middle of five siblings: Wyatt, Shauntel, Louis and Alexandra. His father played basketball at BYU-Hawaii and his sister, Shauntel, played basketball at Southern Utah. Brad went on a two-year Mormon mission to Oaxaca, Mexico, following high school. He is majoring in management at Oklahoma State.
