Cowgirls Open Big 12 Play At Kansas
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team (12-1) will tip off its Big 12 slate on Wednesday when it travels to Lawrence, Kan., to face the Kansas Jayhawks (11-2) at 7 p.m. OSU, which hasn't played since Dec. 29, will be putting its four-game winning streak on the line, while KU has won two in a row after knocking off Xavier on Jan. 4.

Oklahoma State is 5-6 all-time in Big 12 openers. The Cowgirls are 4-7 overall in Big 12 road openers after last season's loss at Texas Tech. OSU last opened conference play with a win on Jan. 8, 2004 at home against Texas A&M and its last win in a road opener was on Jan. 8, 2000 in College Station.

Kansas is riding the momentum of a two-game winning streak after its victory at Xavier on Jan. 4. The Jayhawks enter play with an 8-0 mark inside Allen Fieldhouse this season after knocking off Boston, 71-57, in their last home outing. Danielle McCray checks in as the Big 12's fourth-leading scorer at 16.8 points per game, while Norman, Okla., native Sade Morris is the only other Jayhawk in double figures at 12.3 points per outing.
