• Senior Marcus Dove recorded two steals against the Longhorns, giving him 118 for his career. He moved past Randy Rutherford and into 18th place on the school career steals list.
• Dove matched his season high with nine rebounds. It also marked the second-consecutive game in which he grabbed nine boards.
• The 22 points Oklahoma State allowed in the second half by Texas is the fewest by an OSU opponent since Northwestern State scored 17 in the second period on Dec. 31, a span of 10 halves.
• Freshman James Anderson scored 17 points, a personal best in conference games. It’s the most points he’s scored since chipping in 21 against Northwestern State on Dec. 31.
