STILLWATER, Okla. Â Oklahoma State's men's tennis team will kick off the 2008 season when it takes on Oral Roberts on Tuesday.

OSU will be led by sophomore Oleksandr Nedovyesov. The Alushta,Ukraine , native is ranked in the preseason top 10 nationally after a huge freshman season in Stillwater . The Cowboys will also look to senior Ivan Puchkarov to provide leadership. Puchkarov has shown much improvement in his time at OSU and appears poised to have an explosive senior campaign as he is ranked 15th in the country.
Wadley, now in his 36th year at the helm of the program, says that he is ready to see his team in action and get his younger players some court experience going into the new season.
“We are excited about starting the new year,” Wadley said. “We have a very young team - three freshmen, two sophomores, one junior, and one senior - and we are ranked 11th in the preseason polls, so we need to get on the court and play some matches. I'm anxious to play Oral Roberts starting tomorrow.
