Cowgirl Golfers Receive NCAA Regional Bid

The Cowgirls will compete in the NCAA West Regional, May 10-12, on the Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club in St. George, Utah. The other two sites are the East Regional in Baton Rouge, La., and the Central Regional in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Oklahoma State will serve as the No. 4 seed in the West Regional. Top-ranked Arizona State will be the No. 1 seed in St. George, followed by fourth-ranked Pepperdine and No. 8 Florida. Also in the West Regional field are 11th-ranked Stanford, No. 16 BYU (the host school), 19th-ranked New Mexico and No. 22 Denver.
Other Big 12 schools competing in the NCAA Regionals include Baylor and Missouri in the Central Regional, Texas A&M in the East Regional and Nebraska in the West Regional.
The top eight teams and two individuals not affiliated with those eight teams from each of the three regionals will advance to the NCAA Championships. This year's championships will be held at the LPGA International Course in Daytona Beach, Fla., May 22-25.
