“We're extremely excited about his decision to join our program," said head coach Sean Sutton. "He's got a chance to come in and make an impact on next year's team. He's very athletic, strong and physical. He's an explosive player that can play a couple of positions. We've had great success with players of his size and athleticism. That's one thing that appealed to Marshall about our program. He was very impressed with the passion of our fans and the atmosphere of Gallagher-Iba Arena during his visit to our campus."
“When I went to Stillwater for my visit, I had a great time,” Moses said. “I know the players that have come out of there in the past at my position and gone on to the NBA. Tony Allen was one of my favorite college players to watch.”
A 6-foot-7, 235-pound forward, Moses averaged 25 points and 10 rebounds per game this past season for the Bulldogs. He also shot 41 percent from three-point range. The Patterson School lost to Oak Hill Academy, the No. 1 team in the country, in the finals of the Champions Prep Classic in Boone, N.C.
"He's a terrific young man and we're looking forward to the opportunity to coach him," Sutton said. "He adds another quality player to a very good recruiting class up to this point. We hope that we can sign a couple more good players to finish off this recruiting class."
Moses was also recruited by Kansas, Florida and North Carolina State. He chose Oklahoma State over Kentucky.
“Oklahoma State plays in a great conference and has great coaches,” said Moses. “Coach Sutton is definitely a great coach. I really felt like I was with family when I met with the players. It's a great fit for me.”
