Boggan, Curry, Dove Garner All-Big 12 Awards

Oklahoma State senior Mario Boggan was named All-Big 12 first team in a vote of the league coaches. He was joined on the squad by Brandon Rush and Julian Wright of Kansas, Texas Tech's Jarrius Jackson, Kevin Durant of Texas and Texas A&M's Acie Law. Durant and Law were both unanimous selections.
Cowboy junior JamesOn Curry was named All-Big 12 third team. He was named honorable mention last season. He is joined on the third team by Chalmers, Missouri's Stefhon Hannah, Nate Carter of Oklahoma and Texas Tech's Martin Zeno.
Dove was also included on the five-member Big 12 All-Defensive team. He and Chalmers were joined by Durant, Kansas' Russell Robinson and Dominique Kirk of Texas A&M.
Durant was named both the Big 12 Player of the Year and the Freshman of the Year. Hannah was named the Big 12 Newcomer of the Year, while Kansas State's Cartier Martin was given the Big 12 Sixth Man Award. Texas A&M's Billy Gillispie was named the Big 12 Coach of the Year.
