Dove Named Defensive All-American

Marcus Dove, a junior on the Cowboy Basketball team, was one of 21 players named to the collegeinsider.com All-America Defensive team, it was announced today. Five players from Big 12 schools were included on the list.
Dove, a 6-9 wing player, led Oklahoma State with 38 blocked shots and also had 41 steals on the season. He was routinely assigned to guard the opposing team's best player, including All-Americans Kevin Durant of Texas, Texas A&M's Acie Law and Chris Lofton of Tennessee.
Other Big 12 players named to the list were: Mario Chalmers of Kansas, Texas A&M's Dominique Kirk and Acie Law, and Akeem Wright of Kansas State.
The list was compiled with the help of Division I coaches and NBA scouts as part of the selection process. The final squad was voted on by the collegeinsider.com staff.
