March 27, 2007 | Cowboy Basketball
Boggan ended his two-year career with OSU with 1,135 points, ranking No. 23 on the career scoring chart in school history. His point total is the most ever by a two-year Cowboy. Boggan's 647 points during his senior season rank as the seventh most in a single season in school history.
The most significant game of his abbreviated career came on Jan. 16, 2007, when Boggan scored 37 points and grabbed 20 rebounds as the Cowboys won a triple-overtime thriller 105-103 over Texas. That game was the third recorded game in school history for a player to score at least 30 points and grabbed 20 boards, and was the first in Big 12 history.
Boggan ended his career with a 55.7 shooting percentage, the fourth best in school history. He also shot an impressive 78.6 percent from the free-throw line. His career averages included 16.9 points per game and 6.6 rebounds per contest.
Boggan was a four-time Big 12 Player of the Week honoree this season and was also named the Most Valuable Player of both the All-College Classic and the South Padre Invitational.
