Fans Encouraged to Cheer on Cowboys and Cowgirls in OKC

Oklahoma State fans are encouraged to join the OSU Alumni Association and Posse in helping cheer on the Cowboy and Cowgirl basketball squads at this year's Big 12 Championships in Oklahoma City.

There will be a free prep rally held Tuesday at 7 p.m., on Reno Ave., between the Cox Center and Ford Center to help cheer on the Cowgirls before they face Kansas in the first round of the Big 12 Championship. Pistol Pete, the spirit squad and spirit band will be in attendance.

For the Cowboys, a free prep rally will be held at Coaches in Bricktown at either 10:30 a.m. or 3:30 p.m., depending on the Pokes' seed. Pistol Pete, the spirit squad, spirit band and former head coach Eddie Sutton will all make appearances at the rally.

Coaches will be the official headquarters for OSU during Big 12 Championship week. The Orange Connection Alumni store will also be set up at Coaches for all your OSU clothing needs.
