 Tonight's game was the 17th home contest of the season for Oklahoma State, setting a school record.
 Tonight was also the Cowboys' 15th home victory of the season, tying a school record for homecourt wins. The mark was set in 1988-89, and matched in 1991-92 and 2003-04.
 The Cowboys shot better than 50 percent for the first time this season in a conference game. OSU was shooting 41.3 percent from the floor in Big 12 games this season and had its best performance from the field against Texas Tech on Feb. 10 (48.5 percent).
 Oklahoma State has now recorded 20 wins for the ninth time in the last 10 seasons and the 14th time in the last 17 seasons.
 The Cowboys have now won 10 of the last 11 against Kansas State and nine straight over the Wildcats inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
 Oklahoma State's 41 points in the first half were the most in a period since the Cowboys scored 48 in the second stanza at Colorado, a span of 13 periods (six games).
 OSU's 57.1 percent shooting in the first period was the highest percentage in a half since shooting 59.3 percent in the second half against Iowa State, a span of 15 periods (seven games).
 With three three-point shots tonight, junior JamesOn Curry tied Joe Adkins for fourth place on the career three-pointers made list with 182.
 Curry became the 14th player in school history to record 3,000 career minutes tonight. With 39 against the Wildcats, he now has 3,012.
 Sophomore Terrel Harris scored a career-high 22 points tonight matched a career high with four three-pointers made.
