Cowgirl Basketball Wraps Up Regular Season With Trip To Kansas State
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team (19-9 overall, 7-8 Big 12) will look to continue its late-season surge toward an NCAA Tournament berth on Wednesday when it travels to Manhattan, Kan. to take on Kansas State (16-12, 4-11) at 6 p.m. The Cowgirls are coming off their first win over a ranked opponent under second-year head coach Kurt Budke, knocking off No. 25 Nebraska on Saturday inside Gallagher-Iba Arena on Senior Night.
Scouting The Wildcats
Kansas State has dropped four in a row after suffering a 64-61 loss on Saturday at home against Iowa State. The Wildcats are 10-4 at home this season, but have lost the last four on their own floor. Senior Claire Coggins checks in as the squad's leading scorer at 13.3 points per game, while sophomore Shalee Lehning is second among Big 12 players with 144 assists on the season. K-State is second in the Big 12 with its 6.11 made 3-pointers per game.
