Cowgirl Basketball Closes Out Home Slate Against Nebraska On Senior Night
Coming off just its second-ever win at Texas on Wednesday night, Oklahoma State's women's basketball team (18-9 overall, 6-8 Big 12) will close out its home schedule on Saturday at 7 p.m. when it hosts No. 25/24 Nebraska (21-7, 9-5). The contest will be the final home game for four Cowgirls as Christian Hood, Rashidat Sadiq, Brisa Silva and Destanie Sykes will be playing for the final time inside Gallagher-Iba Arena and will be honored prior to the game.
Scouting The Huskers
Nebraska roared out to a 21-4 start, but is currently in the midst of a three-game losing streak after falling at Iowa State on Tuesday. The Huskers have proven to be formidable away from home, tallying a 9-3 road mark overall and a 5-2 record on the road against league opponents. Preseason All-Big 12 pick Kiera Hardy checks in as the squad's leading scorer at 15.5 points per game, while Kelsey Griffin is averaging 15.1 points and a team-best 8.5 boards per game.

The Cowgirls trail the Huskers 30-23 in the series and have lost the last five meetings, including last season's 81-56 loss in Lincoln and have lost two consecutive inside Gallagher-Iba Arena ... OSU last defeated Nebraska on Feb. 20, 2002 in Lincoln and their last home win in the series came on Feb. 28, 2001 ... the Cowgirls are 15-7 against the Huskers in Stillwater.
