Cowgirl Golfers in Second Place at Lady Puerto Rico Classic

Oklahoma State is tied with Auburn for second place, three strokes behind team leader TCU, which shot a one-over-par 289. The Cowgirls and Tigers are tied at four-over 292, while South Carolina (294) and Purdue (296) round out the top-five teams.
Lindberg had four birdies and just one bogey during her round and is two strokes behind TCU's Valentine Derrey for first place. Cowgirls Mallorie Underwood and Karin Kinnerud are tied for 19th place at two-over 74. Freshman Sarah Bradley is tied for 24th with a 75, while sophomore Amanda Johnson is tied for 33rd place after recording a 76.
The tournament will continue with another round of 18 holes on Saturday and conclude on Sunday with a final round of 18.
