Cowgirl Basketball Travels To Austin To Take On Texas
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team (17-9 overall, 5-8 Big 12) will play its third road game in its last four outings on Wednesday when it takes on Texas (16-11, 5-8) at 7 p.m. in Austin. The Cowgirls are coming off a pair of losses last week to ranked opponents that included a 62-60 setback in the closing seconds against Texas A&M, while the Longhorns are coming off a 71-56 loss at Baylor on Sunday.
Scouting The Longhorns
Texas comes into play having lost its last four outings, including a 77-58 loss against OSU on Feb. 7 in Stillwater. The Longhorns are led by senior Tiffany Jackson's 17.6 points and 9.0 rebounds per game. Jackson is currently ranked fourth in the league in both categories and her 10 double-doubles are tied for the fourth-best total in the Big 12. Texas is 12-4 overall this season at home and 3-3 against Big 12 opponents inside the Erwin Events Center.
