About the Islanders
Texas A&M-Corpus Christi is 1-4 this season with the Islanders only victory being an 86-81 overtime win against Oral Roberts in College Station, Texas.
TAMUCC is led by a trio of players who are averaging double figures. Senior center Chris Daniels is scoring 16.4 points per game, while freshman guard Kevin Perkins is chipping in 13.2 points per contest. Freshman forward Justin Reynolds is averaging 11 points and a team-high 8.6 rebounds per game.
The Islanders are coached by Perry Clark, in his first season with TAMUCC. However, Clark is no stranger to head coaching.
