Senior forward Marcus Dove moved into ninth place on the school career blocked shots list. He moved past Andrew Jones, who had 73 deflections from 1976-78. Dove now has 724 blocked shots in his career.
Junior guard Byron Eaton became just the seventh Cowboy in school history to record 250 assists and 150 steals in a career. He currently has 268 assists and 150 steals.
Freshman center Martavius Adams recorded a career-high four rebounds in the first half alone. He finished the game with five.
Senior Tyler Hatch played for the first time in six games. He matched his career high with six points.
Redshirt freshman Scott Warner made his first appearance in a Cowboy uniform vs. Northwestern State. The 6-foot-11 center scored a basket with eight seconds remaining in the game.
Freshman guard James Anderson scored 21 points, his sixth 20-point performance.
Northwestern States 24.5 percent field goal shooting is the lowest since OSU limited Washington State to 21.8 percent on Dec. 4, 2004. The 36 points by the Demons is the fewest by an OSU foe since Northwestern Oklahoma State an NCAA Division II school scored 35 against the Cowboys on Dec. 21, 2004.
