The Cowboys scored seven points before Panhandle State was finally able to get on the board. Nearly six minutes into the game, OSu was up 18-2 and the rout was on. The Pokes took their largest lead of the half at the 2:14 mark when a free throw by freshman James Anderson made it 54-19.

Muonelo and Anderson scored 11 points each in the first stanza. OSU shot 54.1 percent in the period, including 9-of-14 from long range. Meanwhile, the Aggies could not get anything started offensively, connecting on just 10-of-34 shots from the floor, including an 0-of-9 performance from behind the arc.
Despite extending the lead to as many as 43 points in the second half, Oklahoma State struggled. The Cowboys shot just 38.7 percent in the second period, including a dismal 3-of-13 from behind the three-point line. OSU outscored Panhandle State 32-30 after halftime.
