Nedovyesov Advances with Win at National Tournament

While Nedovyesov was pleased to advance, he was quick to point out that he expects to play better in the second round.
“I went out and took care of business and I feel good about winning,” said Nedovyesov. “This is a tough tournament because you are playing the 32 best players in the country so I will need to play well tomorrow. I will go out and try my best.”
Cowboy senior Ivan Puchkarov was not as fortunate as he fell to
“Ivan played well, but he got a tough draw in the first round,” said Cowboy assistant coach Yevgen Bondarchuk. “That was a hard match-up, but he played well and we hope to see him play well in the consolation.”
Nedovyesov and Puchkarov will be back in action on Friday with match times to be announced.
