Oklahoma State is 74-24 all-time in season openers, including a current 12-game winning streak. The last Cowboys loss to open a season occurred on Nov. 23, 1994, when 19th-ranked OSU fell to BYU 69-59 in the Great Alaska Shootout.
The Cowboys are 86-12 all-time in home openers, including a current 32-game winning streak, the longest in school history. OSUs last loss at home to start the season happened on Dec. 2, 1974, when the Cowboys dropped a 74-67 decision to No. 11-ranked Alabama in Gallagher Hall.
Since 1936, Oklahoma State has won 69 of 72 openers at home, good for 95.8 percent.
