Oklahoma State will serve as the Big 12 Championships No. 7 seed for the second-straight year. OSU has been as high as the No. 1 seed (2004) and as low as the No. 8 seed (1997) at the Championships.
The Cowboys have won two of the last three Big 12 Championships. OSU has won seven of its last eight games in the tournament.
OSU has never played Nebraska or Texas A&M in the Big 12 Championship. The last time the Cowboys played the Huskers in a postseason matchup was in 1995, when Oklahoma State defeated Nebraska 68-48 in the Big Eight Tournament.
The Cowboys were 1-4 against the Huskers in the Big Eight Tournament.
OSU is 4-0 when playing in the first round of the Big 12 Championship.
Tournament History
Oklahoma State is 24-24 all-time in the conference postseason tournament, including a 13-8 mark in the Big 12 Championship.
OSU has won two Big 12 Championship titles 2004 and 2005.
The Cowboys have advanced to the title game on three occasions 1999, 2004 and 2005.
This tournament will mark Oklahoma States fifth first-round game since the Big 12 formed in 1996-97. OSU is 4-0 in the first round.
OSUhas played a Friday game (quarterfinal matchup) every year and is 4-6 in those games.
The Cowboys are 3-1 when playing in Saturdays semifinal round.
Oklahoma State has played eight different teams in the conference championship. Should OSU advance to Fridays quarterfinal matchup with Texas A&M, the only team the Cowboys will not yet played is Kansas State.
OSU is 2-0 against Baylor, 1-0 vs. Colorado, 2-1 against Iowa State, 2-3 vs. Kansas, 0-1 against Missouri, 1-0 vs. Oklahoma, 2-2 against Texas and 3-1 vs. Texas Tech.
Boggan, Curry Named All-District
Oklahoma State senior Mario Boggan was named to the All-District 12 first team by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
Others named to the first team are: Nate Funk of Creighton, Iowas Adam Holuska, and Julian Wright and Brandon Rush of Kansas.
Junior JamesOn Curry was named to the All-District 12 second team by the NABC.
Joining Curry on the second team were Blake Ahearn of Missouri State, Oral Roberts Caleb Green, Cartier Martin of Kansas State and Nebraskas Aleks Maric.
District 12 includes schools from the states of Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri.
The 150 players selected from 15 districts are now eligible for the NABC Division I All-America teams to be announced at the conclusion of the regular season.
All-Big 12 Awards Announced
Mario Boggan was named All-Big 12 first team by the Big 12 Conference in a vote of the league coaches.
JamesOn Curry was named All-Big 12 third team.
Marcus Dove was named co-Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year along with Kansas Mario Chalmers. He was also named to the All-Big 12 Defensive team.
Muonelo From Long Range
Freshman guard Obi Muonelo connected on 8-of-11 field goal attempts from beyond the three-point line Monday night at Nebraska.
The eight treys made ties him for the second-most in a single game in school history.
Current assistant Randy Rutherford is the only other Cowboy to ever make eight or more threes in a game.
Rutherford established a school record with 11 three pointers at Kansas on March 5, 1995. He also connected on eight treys vs. Oklahoma on Feb. 7, 1994, and at Nebraska on Feb. 1, 1995.
Muonelos 72.7 percentage from long range ranks second behind Rutherfords 8-of-10 outing vs. OU with a minimum of 10 attempts.
Curry Scores 40 Points at Baylor
Curry became just the third player in school history to record 40 or more points in a road game. Randy Rutherford scored 45 at Kansas on March 5, 1995, and Ed Odom scored 41 at Texas-Pan American on Dec. 22, 1979.
Curry is just the fifth player in school history to score 40 points in a game and the first junior to achieve that feat.
It was just the second 40-point game by a Cowboy in the last 27 years.

This season, Mario Boggan and JamesOn Curry have combined to record five games of 35 points or more, the most in school history.
The most 35-point games before this season occurred in 1990-91, when Byron Houston recorded four by himself.
30-Point Productions
JamesOn Currys 40 points at Baylor marked his fourth-career 30-point game, including three this season.
Mario Boggan also has four 30-point games in his career.
They are two of just eight Cowboys in school history to record 30 or more points in at least four games.
They are also just two of 18 Pokes to have multiple 30-point games.
Byron Houston holds the school record for the most 30 point games with 13. Bryant Reeves had 10, while Ed Odom had seven. Randy Rutherford had six and Desmond Mason. Ronnie Daniel also had four 30-point games.
20-Point Games
Byron Eaton and Obi Muonelo scored 25 and 24 points, respectively, at Nebraska, marking the 32nd and 33rd 20-point games by the Cowboys this season.
That total matches the 33 20-point games the 1998-99 squad achieved.
It ties for the most 20-point games since the 1994-95 season with Randy Rutherford and Bryant Reeves combined to score 20 or more points on 41 occasions.
Mario Boggan leads the squad with 15 20-point contests while JamesOn Curry has scored 20 or more points on 13 occasions. Terrel Harris has three 20-point games while Eaton and Muonelo each have one.

Sophomore Byron Eaton has recorded 115 steals in his two-year career at Oklahoma State.
He is just the 22nd Cowboy to reach 100 thefts in a career.
With three steals at Nebraska, Eaton moved past Corey Williams and into 18th place.
He needs three steals to move past Randy Rutherford and into 17th place on the career steals list.
Eaton ranks sixth in steals average, recording 1.8 steals per game in his career.
Cowboys Swatting Shots
Junior Marcus Dove has 57 career blocked shots, the 11th-most in school history.
He became just the 12th player in school history to record 50 or more blocked shots in a career.
Senior Mario Boggan has 51 deflections, making him the 13th player to achieve the same feat.
Senior David Monds has 40 blocked shots in his career and is in 21st place in school history. One more would move him into the top 20.
Against the Huskers
Mondays win gives Nebraska the lead in the series since the Big 12 formed, holding onto a 6-5 margin.
Oklahoma State has lost three straight to Nebraska, including an 85-73 losson Monday at the Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, Neb.
The Cowboys have won five of the last nine meetings between these two schools, including an 87-83 overtime win in the last OSU victory.
Oklahoma State has won 20 of the last 31 meetings against the Huskers dating back to the 1987-88 season.
JamesOn Curry is a perfect 11-of-11 from the free-throw line against Nebraska.
David Monds is perfect on five attempts from the floor vs. the Huskers.
Mario Boggan recorded his second-career double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds in the last years meeting with NU.
Byron Eaton is shooting 63.2 percent (12-of-19) against the Huskers in two games. He also has eight assists and just three turnovers against Nebraska.
Against the Aggies
Should the Cowboys defeat Nebraska on Thursday, they would play No. 2 seed Texas A&M on Friday at 6 p.m.
Oklahoma State is 18-4 against Texas A&M since the Big 12 formed in 1996-97, although the two teams have never met in the Big 12 Championships.
Texas A&M has won the last three meetings in the series, outscoring the Cowboys by 40 points.
These two teams have played six games at neutral sites. Oklahoma State is 2-0 against A&M in Oklahoma City.
The most recent meeting in Oklahoma City occurred in the 1988 All-College Classic. OSU won the game, 94-79.
