Cowgirls Close Out Home Swing Against Baylor
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team (15-4 overall, 3-3 Big 12) will close out its string of four consecutive home games on Saturday with a 1:30 p.m. tip against No. 13/11 Baylor (17-3, 4-2). OSU snapped a two-game losing skid on Wednesday with its win over Colorado, while the Lady Bears come to town having won two in a row after prevailing at Texas earlier this week.
Scouting The Lady Bears
Saturday's tilt will be just the fifth true road game in 21 outings this season for the Lady Bears as they own a 3-1 mark away from home this season with their lone loss coming at Texas A&M. Baylor is led by preseason Big 12 Newcomer of the Year Bernice Mosby, who is tops on the squad in both scoring (18.9 ppg) and rebounding (9.5 rpg). She is joined in double figures scoring-wise by Angela Tisdale (10.7 ppg). Tisdale is also the squad's leader in assists at 4.2 per game. Kim Mulkey is in her seventh season in Waco and owns a mark of 174-48.

The Cowgirls and Baylor have met 24 times on the hardwoord with the Lady Bears prevailing 17 times ... Baylor has won seven consecutive in the series, dating back to OSU's last win on Feb. 19, 2003 in Stillwater ... the Cowgirls are 6-4 all time at home against Baylor, but have lost three consecutive outings against the Lady Bears in Stillwater.

A win would be OSU's fourth Big 12 victory of the season, marking its most conference victories since winning seven Big 12 games in 2001-02 ... Andrea Riley is eight assists shy of becoming the first Cowgirl since Chantoya Hawkins in 2002-03 to record 100 assists in a season ... OSU is looking for its first win over a Big 12 South opponent since knocking off Texas Tech in double overtime on Jan. 24, 2004.
