Harris Unavailable Tuesday night against SWOSU
January 02, 2007 | Cowboy Basketball
Terrel Harris, a sophomore guard for the Cowboy Basketball team, suffered an eye injury over the weekend and will not be available for Oklahoma State's game Tuesday night against Southwestern Oklahoma State.
“Terrel suffered a non-displaced orbital rim and floor fracture,” according to Dr. Donald Crawley, consulting ENT doctor. “At this time, we do not believe he needs surgery. We will re-evaluate his injury once the swelling lessens.”
Harris is averaging 11.5 points and 4.1 rebounds per game this season as a starter for the Cowboys.
“This was a non-sports related injury,” said head coach Sean Sutton. “Terrel is an integral part of our program and we're looking forward to getting him back on the court as quickly as possible.”
Harris' availability for Saturday's Big 12 Conference opener versus Baylor is uncertain.
