Oklahoma State-Nebraska Basketball Game To Be Rescheduled
January 13, 2007 | Cowboy Basketball
The Nebraska-Oklahoma State basketball game originally scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 13, will be rescheduled on another date to be mutually agreed upon by the schools.
Nebraska Athletic Director Steve Pederson and Oklahoma State Athletic Director Mike Holder, in consultation with the Big 12 on a Saturday conference call, considered only the safety of the travel party and agreed the current weather conditions made the trip too risky for the OSU team and staff.
While all parties considered playing on Sunday, the forecast into tomorrow does not appear to provide any relief, therefore the option of playing on Sunday was eliminated. The new playing date will be announced as soon as possible.
