Cowgirl Golfers in 13th place at NCAA Fall Preview

Sophomore Pernilla Lindberg carded a one-over-par 73 and moved up two spots individually to 19th place. The Swedish native had three birdies, two bogeys and a double bogey during her round and bettered her first-round score by three strokes.
Sophomore Amanda Johnson, a Jenks, Okla. native, shot a three-over 75, five strokes better than her opening-round score. Senior Mallorie Underwood, who shot an 85 during Friday's round, rebounded dramatically with a three-over 75 as well.
Georgia maintained its lead on the team leaderboard, although the Bulldogs' margin dropped from nine strokes to four over second-place Auburn. Top-ranked Duke shot an even-par 288 during the second round and moved into third place. Virginia, Arizona State and Wake Forest are all tied for fifth place.
The tournament will conclude on Sunday with a final round of 18 holes on the LPGA International Legends Course. The tournament serves as a preview of the 2007 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships which will be played on the same course. Fans can follow the action live on the internet at www.golfstat.com.
