Cowgirl Basketball Announces 2006-07 Schedule

After opening with six consecutive home games, OSU will once again take part in the Bertha Teague Classic on Dec. 2, squaring off with Oral Roberts in Tulsa. Head coach Kurt Budke's squad will venture outside the state of Oklahoma for the first time on Dec. 9 when it travels to Jonesboro, Ark. to play Arkansas State.
OSU will close out the non-conference schedule with two games in Honolulu at the Hawaii Invitational. The tournament will mark the first trip to the Aloha State for the Cowgirls since 2001 and will include the Cowgirls' first-round opponent Columbia, Hawaii and San Francisco.
After opening Big 12 play on the road at Texas Tech, OSU will play five of its next six games inside Gallagher-Iba Arena, opening with Kansas. After a road trip to Iowa State, the Cowgirls will navigate a four-game homestand that includes in-state rival Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Colorado and Baylor.
OSU will wrap up its home slate on Feb. 24 against Nebraska before closing out the regular season at Kansas State. on Feb. 28.
