Anne split her collegiate career between Seward County Community College and Notre Dame. During her four seasons, she was part of a national championship squad at Seward County and two NCAA Sweet 16 teams with the Irish.Â

A native of Salina, Kansas, Anne finished her two-year career at Notre Dame in 2004, playing in 11 contests during her senior season. A recipient of the Notre Dame Spirit Award, she was selected to the 2004 Big East Academic All-Star Team. Weese joined the team as a walk-on for the 2002-03 season. She also was an assistant to the Director of Basketball Operations for one year at Notre Dame.

At Seward County, Anne competed under current Cowgirl associate head coach Jim Littell. In her two seasons, the Lady Saints amassed a combined record of 71-1, including a 38-0 mark on their way to the 2002 NJCAA national championship.

As a four-year prep standout, Anne left Sacred Heart High School as the school's record holder for points in a game (42), season (577) and career (1,724). A two-time all-state pick, she was named one of the Salina Journals “Top Five Female Basketball Players of the Decade” in January 2000.

Weese graduated from Notre Dame in 2004 with a degree in Psychology and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Community Counseling at OSU. She is the daughter of Mary Pat and Jim Weese. Anne has two sisters, Erin and Sarah, one brother, Andrew, one nephew, Brax, and one niece, Brin.Â
