March 05, 2006 | Cowboy Tennis
Oklahoma State's 37th-ranked men's tennis team will make its home debut of the season on Sunday at 1 p.m. against No. 23 TCU.
The Cowboys (4-1) are coming off of wins last week against Oral Roberts and Missouri State. In both matches, OSU did not give up a single point, winning 7-0 and 5-0, respectively.
The Horned Frogs (6-1) will come into the Jack DeBois Tennis Complex one day after facing No. 55 Tulsa. Earlier in the week, TCU dropped its first match of the season, losing on Tuesday to South Alabama, 5-2.
“TCU is an excellent team,” said OSU coach James Wadley. “ They already have big wins over Top 20 teams.
“They will create a big challenge for us when we open our home season.”
In the all-time series, the teams are tied, 5-5, after OSU defeated TCU, 4-2, last season in Fort Worth, Texas.
