Cowgirl golfers to compete in Bryan National Collegiate

Oklahoma State's 20th-ranked women's golf team travels to Browns Summit, N.C., this weekend to compete in the Bryan National Collegiate, hosted by Wake Forest University. The tournament will be played on the 6,210-yard, par-72 Bryan Park Champions Course.

Ten of the nation's top-20 teams will be competing in the tournament, including top-ranked Duke. Also competing are sixth-ranked Georgia, No. 8 Purdue, 11th-ranked Wake Forest, No. 12 California, 13th-ranked Tennessee, No. 14 Vanderbilt, 16th-ranked Florida, No. 17 Virginia and the 20th-ranked Cowgirls.

Other teams in the field include the College of Charleston, Furman, LSU, North Carolina, N.C. State, UNC-Greensboro, UNC-Wilmington and South Carolina.

The tournament will consist of three rounds of 18 holes. Tee times begin at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time on both Friday and Saturday, and a shotgun start format will be used on Sunday, also at 8:30 a.m. Live scoring can be found on the internet at www.golfstat.com.
