Cowgirl Golfers move up to fourth at Longhorn Invitational

Top-ranked Duke carded a 302 and moved ahead of Texas A&M and into first place. The Blue Devils have a two-day total of 604. The Aggies are one stroke back at 605, while Purdue also shot a 302 and is in third place with a 608. The Cowgirls have a two-round total of 616, eight strokes back of Purdue.
Three Cowgirls are in the top 20, led by freshman Pernilla Lindberg, who carded her second-straight 76 and is in a tie for seventh place. Junior Candie Herrera also shot a 76 and moved up 12 spots for a 10th-place tie with eight other golfers. Freshman Karin Kinnerud, who was in fourth place after Friday's round, dropped to 18th after carding an 80.
Junior Mallorie Underwood moved from 44th place to 27th place with a 77. Freshman Amanda Johnson, who is playing as an individual, moved up nine spots to 35th place, while senior Jennifer Karr shot one stroke better than the first round with an 83.
The tournament will conclude on Sunday with a final round of 18 holes.
