Cowgirl Golfers to compete in Longhorn Invitational

Oklahoma State's 20th-ranked Cowgirl golf team will travel to Austin, Texas, this weekend to compete in the 33rd-annual Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational, hosted by the University of Texas.

The tournament, played at the University of Texas Golf Club, will consist of 18 holes played each day beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, and at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.

The field of 15 teams includes three others ranked in the top 20. Top-ranked Duke, No. 8 Purdue and 16th-ranked Texas A&M will also participate.

Other teams competing in the tournament include Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas, Minnesota, New Mexico State, North Carolina, Oklahoma, SMU, TCU, Texas and Tulsa.
