Cowgirls Set To Face Texas Tech

Oklahoma State's women's basketball team (6-15, 0-10) will travel to Lubbock, Texas for a Wednesday night contest against the Texas Tech Lady Raiders (10-10, 5-4) at 7 p.m. The Cowgirls are coming off an 81-54 loss on Saturday to Baylor, while Tech enters the matchup looking to rebound from a 65-48 loss at Texas A&M on Sunday.
Scouting The Lady Raiders
The Lady Raiders carry a perfect 4-0 home record against conference foes into Wednesday night's contest. Head coach Marsha Sharp's crew disposed of Texas, 84-63, in its last outing in Lubbock. Overall, Tech is 8-2 on its home floor with its losses coming at the hands of LSU in the season opener and Stanford on Nov. 27. LaToya Davis checks in as the squad's leading scorer and rebounder. The senior forward is averaging a double-double on the season with her 19.5 points and 10.9 rebounds per contest. Davis is second in the league with 13 double-doubles on the year. The Lady Raiders defeated the Cowgirls on Jan. 25 in Stillwater by a 61-51 count to run their lead in the all-time series to 21-12. Tech has won the last three meetings against OSU and owns a 10-3 advantage at home in the series. The Cowgirls' last won in Lubbock on Jan. 8, 1997, posting a 78-56 victory.
