Cowboys Face Sooners in Norman
Oklahoma State travels to Norman, Okla., for the Cowboys final road game of the regular season. Bedlam II will tip off Monday night at 8 p.m. inside Lloyd Noble Center. The Cowboys are 15-13 overall and 5-9 in Big 12 Conference action, coming off a 74-63 win over Texas Tech in Stillwater Saturday afternoon. The Oklahoma Sooners are 19-6 overall, 10-4 in league play and coming off a 71-70 win over Kansas State in Norman on Saturday. OU won the earlier meeting with Oklahoma State in Stillwater 73-65.
On Television
Mondays game will be broadcast live as part of ESPNs Big Monday package. Ron Franklin will handle the play-by-play duties, while Fran Fraschilla will provide expert analysis and Holly Rowe will serve as the sideline reporter. This game will mark Oklahoma States 69th appearance on ESPN, and the Cowboys are 18-12 all-time on Big Monday. OSU is 8-3 all-time vs. Oklahoma on Big Monday. The two teams split last years meetings as both were on Big Monday.

JamesOn Curry scored 18 points and Mario Boggan added 17 as Oklahoma State avenged an earlier loss to Texas Tech by defeating the Red Raiders 74-63 Saturday afternoon inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. OSU outrebounded Tech 37-26, and limited the Red Raiders to just 37.7 percent shooting from the floor. Boggan, David Monds and Torre Johnson were monsters on the boards, grabbing seven each. Tech did connect on 9-of-13 shots from long range, but made just 11-of-40 from inside the arc. The Cowboys nearly doubled Texas Techs output in the paint, 38-20.
Texas Tech Postgame Notes
Saturdays win over Texas Tech improved OSUs record to 26-11 all-time against the Red Raiders.
With two three-pointers against Tech, sophomore guard JamesOn Curry now has 99 career treys, needing just one to become the 15th player in school history to achieve that mark.
Freshman guard Byron Eaton had three steals against the Red Raiders, giving him 50 on the season. That establishes a new record at OSU for freshmen.
Eaton also grabbed a career-high six rebounds against Texas Tech.
The Cowboys have held 12 of their 15 home opponents this season under 70 points.
About the Sooners
Oklahoma is 19-6 overall this season and 10-4 in Big 12 Conference action. The Sooners are 13-1 at home, their only loss coming against Missouri in their home league opener. OU is led by senior forward Taj Gray who is averaging 14.4 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. Three other Sooners are averaging in double figures: Michael Neal (13.5 ppg), Terrell Everett (12.6) and Kevin Bookout (11.1). Everett leads the team in assists with 171. As a team, Oklahoma is outrebounding its opponents by an average of 10.4 boards per contest. OU has won its last three games, each by one point. In fact, the Sooners have had six conference games decided by one point, and have gone 4-2 in those games.

Oklahoma leads the all-time series with Oklahoma State 120-87, including a 73-26 mark in Norman. Mondays game will mark the 100th meeting between these two teams in Norman. The Cowboys have won five of the last eight meetings, with their last win in Lloyd Noble Center coming on Feb. 16, 2004, by a 65-52 score. OSU is 19-14 against the Sooners since Eddie Sutton returned to his alma mater, and the Pokes lead the series, 10-9, since the Big 12 formed in 1996-97.
Miscellaneous Notes
Sophomore guard JamesOn Curry currently has 207 career assists, becoming the 22nd Cowboy to reach 200 assists in a career. He needs two more to move into the top 20 on the school career list.
Curry also needs just two points to reach 700 in his career.
As a team, Oklahoma State has connected on 33 of its last 37 shots from the free-throw line over the last three games, good for 89.2 percent.
Freshman guard Byron Eaton has scored 20 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in the last two games while dishing out eight assists.
Junior forward Mario Boggan has scored 17 points in each of the last three games. He has grabbed at least six rebounds in the last five contests.
Prior to the Texas Tech game, Boggan had made 15 consecutive free throws and 20 of 21 over the previous six games. He made just 3 of 5 against Tech.

Oklahoma State will close out the regular season by hosting the Baylor Bears (2-12, 2-12) on Saturday, March 4, at 6 p.m. inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. The game will be televised by Cowboy Sports Network. Next week, the Cowboys will play in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament on Thursday, March 9.
