Sutton Undergoes Back Surgery
Here is a quote from Dr. James Rodgers, the surgeon who performed back surgery on Coach Sutton Thursday morning:
We are optimistic todays surgery will help address Coach Suttons chronic back and hip pain. The surgery went as planned. Coach Sutton is recovering comfortably from this mornings surgery. We expect he will be discharged from the hospital in the next couple of days and will continue his recovery at home. He should be able to begin physical therapy in 10 to 12 days and then we will monitor his progress to determine when it would be appropriate for him to enter a treatment center.

Miscellaneous Notes
Sophomore guard JamesOn Curry currently has 203 career assists, becoming the 22nd Cowboy to reach 200 assists in a career. He needs six more to move into the top 20 on the school career list.
Curry needs to make just two three pointers to become the 15th player in school history to reach 100 treys in a career.
Currys 40.4 career three-point percentage currently ranks ninth in school history.
Speaking of treys, junior forward David Monds hit his first-career three pointer against Texas on his fourth-career attempt.
Freshman guard Byron Eaton needs just three steals to establish a school record for freshmen. Richard Dumas holds the current record with 49. Eaton has 47 with three regular-season games remaining.
Oklahoma States current 17.1 turnovers-per-game average is the highest by a Cowboy squad since the 1992-93 season when OSU had 506 turnovers in 29 games, an average of 17.4 turnovers per game. Its the first time since the 1996-97 season that the Pokes have had a negative turnover margin.
