Statement from Surgeon regarding Coach Eddie Sutton's surgery

“We are optimistic today's surgery will help address Coach Sutton's chronic back and hip pain. The surgery went as planned. Coach Sutton is recovering comfortably from this morning's surgery.  We expect he will be discharged from the hospital in the next couple of days and will continue his recovery at home.  He should be able to begin physical therapy in ten to 12 days and then we will monitor his progress to determine when it would be appropriate for him to enter a treatment center.”  James Rodgers MD Surgeon
