No. 22 Cowboys upset by No. 30 Miami, 5-2

The Cowboys (2-1) began the day getting swept in doubles to fall behind early, but Cowboy senior Artie Burmstrau evened the score at No. 5 by defeating Eric Hechtman, 6-0, 6-2.
The Hurricanes (3-1) regained the overall lead for good at No. 4 when Tim Krebs downed Felipe Diaz, 6-1, 6-2.
At No. 1, OSU's 27th-ranked Daniel Byrnes lost for the first time this season, dropping his match to No. 25 Luigi D'Agord, 6-2, 7-6.
Miami's 87th-ranked Josh Cohen clinched the match for the Hurricanes at No. 2, beating senior Tomas Bohunicky in a hard fought match, 7-6, 7-6.
After OSU's Ivan Puchkarov lost in match in three sets at No.3, freshman Nathan Byrnes won his match in three sets at No. 6.
The Cowboys will look to bounce back from this loss on Feb. 19 at noon, when they take on Missouri State in Oklahoma City.
