Cowboys Set to Face Oral Roberts
February 22, 2006 | Cowboy Tennis
The Cowboys (2-1) will look to defeat an ORU team that is coached by former OSU assistant coach Chris Milliron, who took over the coaching post for the Golden Eagles in 2004 after two seasons at OSU.
“It will be good to get back out on the court, and it's always more exciting when you get to compete against someone that you used to work with,” said OSU coach James Wadley.
Following Thursday's match, the Cowboys will play Missouri State in Oklahoma City on Sunday at 10 a.m. before getting another week off between competitions.
“With the long break from competition since our last match and then another week off before our next match, it will be nice for our guys to face someone other than their teammates,” Wadley said. “These matches will be tough, so we will have to play at our best.”
