Andrea Riley Named Big 12 Rookie of the Week

Oklahoma State's Andrea Riley has been named the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week it was announced today by the league office.
Riley recorded double-doubles in both of OSU's games last week while helping the Cowgirls improve to 7-0, the program's best start since a 10-0 start in 1995-96.
The Dallas, Texas native scored 11 points and dished out a career-best 11 assists in OSU's win over Missouri-Kansas City on Thursday. She also tied her career high with six rebounds and set a new career standard with four steals against the Kangaroos, while her assist total was just two shy of the school's single-game record set last season by teammate Brisa Silva.
Riley followed up her performance against UMKC with a 20-point, 10-assist outing against Oral Roberts on Saturday at the Bertha Teague Classic in Tulsa.
She finished the week with 21 assists against just five turnovers.
Riley also extended her string of made free throws to 29 after going 5-of-5 against UMKC and 9-of-9 against ORU. She is currently one shy of tying the school record of 30 set by Jennifer Crow in 1999. For the week she averaged 15.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 10.5 assists and 3.0 steals per game.
