Cowboys Blow Past Oklahoma Baptist, 99-55

Sophomore Terrel Harris had the best game of his young career as he scored 22 points on 8-of-14 shooting, including three slam dunks. He also grabbed seven rebounds. Freshman Obi Muonelo, who earned his first collegiate start, added eight points, six assists and four rebounds for the Cowboys.
Junior JamesOn Curry had a good night by his standards, connecting on 8-of-9 shots from the field, including 5-of-6 from beyond the three-point arc, for a game-high 23 points. Senior Mario Boggan had a very productive night, scoring 18 points and grabbing what would be a career-high 14 rebounds. He also had four steals.
The 18-0 run to start the game was the difference in the first half as the Cowboys led the Bison 46-28 at intermission. Less than five minutes into the second period and OSU was leading by 32 after a 16-2 run to start the second stanza. Oklahoma State led by 40 seven minutes later and cruised to the 44-point win.
The Cowboys had just eight turnovers in the game, compared to 23 by OBU. OSU scored 33 points off those 23 miscues. Oklahoma State also outrebounded the Bison 45-31 and scored 22 second-chance points on 22 offensive boards.
Oklahoma State will open the regular season on Friday night as the Cowboys host the Florida Atlantic Owls. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m.
