Cowboys Host Islanders
Oklahoma State goes from visiting an island (South Padre, that is) to hosting the Islanders from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi this Wednesday night.
OSU is 7-0 for the second time in three years to start the season. The Cowboys started the 2004-05 season 9-0.
TAMUCC is 3-0 and coming off an 82-73 win at Detroit on Saturday.
The game will be produced by Cox Communications and the Cowboy Sports Network. John Holcomb of Tulsas KOTV-Channel 6 will handle the play-by-play duties while former Cowboy Bryndon Manzer will provide expert analysis.
The game can be seen on KOCB in both Oklahoma City and Stillwater and on KMYT in Tulsa. It will also be aired on Fox Sports Southwest in other parts of Oklahoma and some parts of Texas.
Game Rewind Highlights
Oklahoma State won the South Padre Island Invitational with a 73-70 overtime win over Missouri State on Saturday morning. The Cowboys defeated Auburn 66-65 in the semifinals on Friday.
Mario Boggan was named the Most Valuable Player of the South Padre Island Invitational last weekend. He averaged just over 20 points and seven rebounds in the four games.
JamesOn Curry and Obi Muonelo were both named to the all-tournament team. Curry averaged 12.5 points and 4.5 assists during the tournament while Muonelo scored 41 points, grabbed 17 rebounds and had nine assists in the four games.

Oklahoma State has already played seven games this season and is one of just 10 teams to have seven victories at this early point in the season.
Other teams that are currently 7-0 nationally (as of Mondays games) are: Missouri, Clemson, Maryland, Marquette, Syracuse, Illinois, Butler and San Diego State.
Michigan is 7-1, the only other team to have won seven games this season.

The Islanders are 3-0 this season and coming off an 82-73 win at Detroit on Saturday.
As a team, they are averaging 81 points per game and have a 21 points per game scoring margin.
A trio of transfers are leading the Islanders in scoring.
Senior Josh Washington, a transfer from Texas Tech, leads the team with 14.7 points per game.
Junior-college transfer Scooby Johnson and senior Cedric Smith are each averaging 14.3 points per contest.
The Islanders are shooting 53.2 percent from the floor.
