Senior forward Mario Boggan has now connected on 23-consecutive free throws. He was 18-of-18 entering tonights game and was 5-of-5 at the line vs. Southern.
Boggans 21 points against the Jaguars marked his fourth-consecutive 20-point game.
Oklahoma State reached double figures in steals for the fifth-consecutive game vs. Southern. The last time OSU had at least 10 steals in five-straight games was during the 2002-03 season when the Cowboys had at least 10 steals in eight-consecutive games from Dec. 8 until Jan. 11 of that season.
Head Coach Sean Sutton became the first head coach in school history to win his first five games as the Cowboys head man.
Freshman guard Obi Muonelo reached double figures for the fifth-straight game with 10 against the Jaguars. He joins Byron Houston, OSUs all-time leading scorer, as the only two players in the last 30 years to have scored in double figures in each of his first five games as a freshman.
Oklahoma State missed its first eight attempts from long range before sophomore Byron Eaton hit a trey at the 16:07 mark of the second half. That three-point shot extended OSUs consecutive streak of games with a trey to 188 games.
