Cowgirls Look To Remain Undefeated With Friday Contest Against Pacific
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team (3-0) will look to continue its three-game winning streak on Friday when it hosts Pacific (1-1) at 7 p.m. inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. The Cowgirls are coming off an 86-46 win over Southern on Tuesday night, while the Tigers last played on Nov. 19, picking up a 71-59 victory over Colorado State.

The Tigers opened the regular season with a 74-60 loss at Portland before bouncing back with a 71-59 home victory over Colorado State. Three players are scoring in double figures as freshman Jake Kelly (17.5 ppg), sophomore Karen Dawkins (17.0 ppg) and Kelsey Lavender (11.0 ppg) are tops on the squad in scoring. Dawkins and sophomore Whitney Price are averaging a team-best 12.0 rebounds per game. Head coach Lynne Roberts is in her first season at Pacific.

Saturday's contest is the fourth of a season-opening six-game homestand ... a win would give the Cowgirls their first 4-0 start since the 2000-01 season when OSU began the year with four consecutive victories ...
