Postgame Notes vs. Texas Southern
Friday, Nov. 17, 2006
Oklahoma State, which leads the Big 12 Conference in steals, had a season-high 17 thefts against Texas Southern. That's the most by the Cowboys since OSU had 18 against Northwestern State on Dec. 8, 2002, a span of 130 games.
Senior forward Mario Boggan matched his career-high with 27 points vs. the Tigers. He set the mark against Arkansas State on Dec. 31, 2005.
Boggan's eight field goals and nine free throws were both season highs.
Sophomore guard Terrel Harris recorded a career-high four steals tonight.
Sophomore guard Byron Eaton's eight assists were a season high, three shy of his career best.
OSU's defense forced 27 turnovers tonight, a season high. It is also the third-straight game that the opponent has committed at least 23 turnovers. The Cowboys scored 31 points off those turnovers.
